TikTok Dance Battle Rules & Instructions
Dancing is a great way to express individuality and style! Participating students will use TikTok to create a 30-second dance video to Katy Perry’s “Smile.” Your outfit, background, gestures, and dance must be school appropriate and the song clip must include the following lyrics:Yeah, I’m thankful | Scratch that, baby, I’m grateful | Gotta say it’s really been a while | But now I got back that smile (smile) | I’m so thankful | Scratch that, baby, I’m grateful | Now you see me shine from a mile | Finally got back that smile (smile)To Enter:
- Your video should be no longer than 30-seconds and created using TikTok app.
- Your posted video should include the hashtag #JDGSMILES. Your video caption should include only your school and JDG grade (i.e. Dover JDG 10).
- The videos must be submitted via email to Mrs. Boyd at jdgshared@gmail.com no later than Monday, November 16th, 11:59pm. NOTE: Please include your full name, school, and grade in the body of the email to Mrs. Boyd. Students who do NOT follow the rules will be disqualified.

To apply for a DCA State Officer Position,- Record a 1-minute video sharing your name, grade, school, and three (3) reasons why YOU should be elected as a DCA State Officer. Candidate videos will be uploaded to JDG’s YouTube Channel where students can view to learn more about each candidate.
