As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local students in their career exploration and preparation, we are thrilled to report the resounding success of our recent community event!

In partnership with Delaware Technical Community College (Stanton Campus), the 3rd Annual JDG Job Fair for High School Students in New Castle County saw an impressive turnout of 150 enthusiastic students and parents. Thanks to the generous support from the Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center, attendees enjoyed complimentary meals from Chick-fil-A and had an exciting time engaging with the mobile game trucks.

A highlight of the event was the Boys & Girls Club’s mobile media van, which provided interactive experiences and showcased the dynamic activities available through their programs. This engaging setup not only entertained but also educated our young participants.

One of the most significant outcomes of the event was the on-the-spot hiring of students, providing them with immediate employment opportunities. This is a testament to the event’s success in connecting talented young individuals with real-world job prospects.
