The 4th Annual Governor’s Race for Excellence to benefit Jobs for Delaware Graduates!
On Saturday, October 12, 2019, Jobs for Delaware Graduates, Inc. will host our 4th Annual “Governor’s Race for Excellence” 5K. This year’s event will include a 1-mile obstacle course followed by an afternoon of games, music, vendors, and more! Get ready to jump, dash, or crawl your way to the finish line with challenges that promote teamwork, creativity, and fun for all ages!

What is Virtual Running and How does it work?
“Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, at any pace, inside on a treadmill or outside in your own neighborhood! All you have to do is enter a race and provide evidence that you have done it. That’s it!”
To get started:
1. Visit https://runsignup.com/Race/DE/Dover/JDG5K and click the “Virtual Runner” tab to complete your registration.
2. Choose a starting line – it can be on a track, a treadmill, or a neighborhood street.
3. Run the distance (5 kilometers or 3.10685 miles) by midnight, Saturday, October 12, 2019.
4. Submit your results – Screenshot your app or monitoring device and send it jdgshared@gmail.com to receive your #Runlikeagraduate “Finisher” Certificate in the mail!
